Josh Hamilton hits four home runs in one game!

by Max Koenig

Josh Hamilton, a slugging Center Fielder for the Texas Rangers had a historic May 8th.
He blasted four 2R-Home Runs in one game agasinst the Baltimore Orioles. This marked
one of the few times a player has hit 4 home runs in a game. The last person to do this
was Carlos Delgado of the Toronto Blue Jays. On this special night, Josh Hamilton went
5 for 5 with four home runs and a double. He had 18 total bases, one shy of the MLB record.
Josh Hamilton is truly having an extraordinary season. He is on pace to have one of the best
seasons a hitter can have. Keep tracking the progress of Josh Hamilton throughout this year
because it can really be special.
